Adam Scott Graham is an internationally acclaimed Conductor and Organist whose career spans performance, education, and church leadership. He currently serves as Director of Music at Saint Luke Lutheran Church of Silver Spring, Maryland. He leads a successful music ministry at Saint Luke consisting of six vocal ensembles, handbells, and concert series. For 24 years, he held the position of Artist-in-Residence at Takoma Park Seventh-day Adventist Church. He has also served as Chair for Music in Worship on the American Choral Directors Association’s Repertoire & Standards Committee, and as Dean of the Potomac Chapter of the American Guild of Organists.

Internationally, Graham performed at the 2012 Presidential Inauguration of Liberian President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf. He later accompanied and conducted the University of Liberia Alumni Chorus in concerts, raising funds to establish a school of music building in Monrovia and sending critical medical aid during the Ebola pandemic.

His passion for sacred music, the spoken word, and the future of church music is reflected in his numerous arrangements, original compositions, and transcriptions. Within The Episcopal Church, he has served as musician for the Triennial Meeting of the National Episcopal Church Women during the General Convention. His concert programs consistently highlight hymn-based arrangements alongside traditional repertoire.

Recognized for his artistic leadership, Graham has been praised for presenting one of the “best performances of Handel’s Messiah in Washington, D.C.” (DC Performing Arts Examiner). He has prepared choirs for Messiah performances at the Kennedy Center’s annual sing-along and revived the beloved Messiah tradition at Trinity Episcopal–Piney Branch and First Presbyterian Church of Arlington, Virginia. As an advocate for diversity in the arts, Graham is dedicated to uplifting African American and LGBTQ+ musicians.
