Laurinburg Presbyterian Church is seeking a part-time Director of Music for an active congregation steeped in the reformed tradition. The church is seeking a person with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in music or music education, choral conducting experience, keyboard skills, good communication and organizational skills. Director of Music will work with the organist, a volunteer adult choir, a handbell choir and oversee the children’s music program. Salary is $18,000 – $20,000 and is commensurate with skills/experience. One Sunday service, midweek adult choir rehearsal and additional evening rehearsal for handbells.
