Rodgers Infinity 489 custom four manual installed 12/17/24
The new custom Rodgers Infinity 489 four manual organ was chosen to replace the 1980 Schantz pipe organ. The Schantz’s control system that was installed around 2008 had become a problem and parts were no longer available. Back in 2008 when the work on the console was done new reed ranks were installed to replace all of the Schantz reeds. These were over-scaled and way too loud for the ensemble of the organ rendering them unusable. The new Rodgers has a two-tone finish, moving drawknobs, 97 stops, velocity sensing keyboards and pedal board, air-turn and USB technology, American/French/English/German pipe sample sets along with a large selection of additional pipe samples and orchestral samples in the library. The organ sits on a finished rolling platform.
