St. Baltimore Catholic Church
St. Casimir Catholic Church, a historic and beloved parish in the Canton neighborhood of Baltimore, is delighted to announce the installation of its new Rodgers Imagine 359 digital organ. This state-of-the-art instrument enhances the rich musical tradition of our liturgical worship, offering unparalleled versatility, expressive depth, and a magnificent palette of organ voices to support both sacred music and congregational song.
Founded in 1902 and known for its stunning neo-Renaissance architecture and vibrant parish life, St. Casimir has long been a spiritual and cultural anchor in the community. The addition of the Rodgers Imagine 359 marks a significant milestone in the ongoing renewal of the church’s worship ministries, ensuring that music continues to uplift hearts and glorify God for generations to come.
The Rodgers Imagine 359 is the second Rodgers installed in this parish, replacing a three manual analogue instrument which served the parish for decades. Â The Daffer Church Organ team has maintained the analogue instrument for many years, keeping it playing in spite of its age and tonal limitations. Â As the instrument aged, the parish chose to invest in the new, DS-Core technology Imagine 359 organ, as a way to ensure high quality music for many years to come.
Parishioners and visitors are invited to experience the inspiring sound of this magnificent instrument at upcoming liturgies, concerts, and special celebrations throughout the year.
