Historic Pipe Organ Restored and Expanded with Rodgers Instruments 359 DS-Core Digital Organ
The Supreme Council of the 33rd Degree of the Scottish Rite worked closely with R. A. Daffer Church Organs, Inc. to restore and expand their historic 27 rank, two manual Schantz Pipe Organ. The resulting instrument is a Custom Rodger Hybrid Organ composed of three manuals, fifty-one stops, reverse wooden keys and beautifully carved Pau Ferro wood draw knobs. The console was custom made in order to fit into an intricately carved walnut niche. The new digital components and speakers are located 100 feet above in the organ chamber along side the newly-restored pipework and solid state components. The stunning new organ is a success because of the hand-in-glove relationship between the Scottish Rite and Bill Teyssier, Senior Pipe Technician, Daffer Church Organs.
