After a lengthy search period of over a year, Grace
Lutheran selected a new Rodgers Trillium 797 two manual
drawknob organ to replace their 4 rank Moller pipe organ. The 797
comes with a five channel audio system which will
be installed in the balcony using the old pipe chamber to house the
speakers. A Rodgers PR-300S MIDI module will also be installed. This is the
second Rodgers organ selected by Pastor John Miller who serves as pastor for
two churches. About a year ago, he selected a Rodgers 525 for St. Paul's
Lutheran Church located just outside Easton. |

Rosebank United Methodist Church selected a Rodgers 751-I
two manual digital organ to replace their mid 1950s Baldwin organ. This
church required a slightly special installation due to the small amount of
space in the chancel area. The 751-I has a 3 channel internal speaker system
which includes 2 full range channels and a separate ported sub woofer
channel. In this installation, the full range channels were disabled and two
full range FR-1.7 speakers were mounted on the front wall of the church and
the builtin sub woofer was left intact to provide the bass since there was
very little space available for a separate external sub. |

After evaluating several choices of digital organs for their
new 900 seat Sanctuary, Bethel's committee recommended and received approval
for a new Rodgers Trillium 957 three manual digital organ. This installation
will have a double 8 channel audio system on the main organ, a 4 channel
Antiphonal division, a separate Festival Trumpet division in the rear of the
church and a complete 4 channel Rodgers RSS room modeling system. A Rodgers
PR-300S MIDI system will also be installed. |
