When Asbury Methodist Village, Inc.
located in Gaithersburg, Maryland began their search for a new organ for one
of their auditoriums, one of the requirements was
that a custom, portable speaker system had to be designed and built.
After a couple of trips to our
showroom they selected a new Rodgers Trillium 927
three manual organ with an eight channel audio system consisting of two
Rodgers SW-7.5 sub-woofers and six Rodgers FR-1.7 full range speakers. |

|
| The
committee's decision to purchase a Rodgers organ
was based on the exceptional features and sound of the new
Trillium digital organs from Rodgers but also on
the ability of R. A. Daffer Church Organs, Inc. to build the custom speaker
system for their auditorium. None of the other companies offered this
capability. Bob Rupprecht,
head of our custom division, designed and built the speaker towers shown in
these pictures. These cabinets have military
grade connect/disconnect couplers, cable storage and a single grille cover
on the front. The movable platform, also built by Mr. Rupprecht, has the
connect/disconnect couplers built into the backside of the
platform.
