The finished installation with full range audio cabinets that don't detract from the beauty of the church.

Harmony United Methodist Church, Hamilton, Virginia

Small church installations often present greater challenges than large church
installations.  Harmony United Methodist Church, Hamilton, Virginia, is one
such case.

The church's old Hammond organ spoke through a small chamber in the side of the sanctuary.  Our goal with the new Rodgers Organ was to replicate the
sound and feel of a pipe organ.
The side chamber was used to install the large sub-woofers.  Since bass
frequencies are non-directional, the side chamber location was fine.

The side chamber(pictured) was used to install the large sub woofers.
The front of the church was another matter.   We didn't want to draw the
worshiper's attention away from the altar by hanging large speaker cabinets
right in the front of the church.
hanging large speaker cabinets would divert the worshipper's attention from the altar
The installation was designed with small, full range audio cabinets installed
in custom casework, built in our woodshop.  The cabinets were painted to
match the walls, with complementary grill-cloth on the front of the cabinets. These cabinets can be used to hang banners that change with the Liturgical
year.

As you can see by the photo at the top right of the page, the result is an installation that not only sounds good, but looks good as well.
