The Harvey Residence, MD recently installed a Rodgers 960 organ

Taylor Harvey, a long time residence of Salisbury, Maryland, has been
Director of Music and Organist at Asbury United Methodist Church located next
to Salisbury State University.  Asbury UMC has the largest and finest pipe
organ on the Eastern Shore, a four manual 63 rank Casavant.  Several years
ago, we augmented this organ with 13 digital voices.

Taylor is a native of Roanoke, Virginia.  He received his Bachelor of Music
degree and Master of Church Music Degree from the Peabody Conservatory of
Music in Baltimore.  Additional studies have been done at Westminster Choir
College.  He studied organ with Clarence Snyder, Arthur Rhea, and George
Markey and conducting with Igor Jones and George Lynn.

Over the years, Taylor has personally owned several different electronic
organs.  Because his hearing is so use to the Casavant pipe organ he plays
several time weekly, he quickly became bored with each of his personal
instruments because they did not provide the sound he needed.  Several years
ago, Taylor selected a Rodgers digital 735 two manual drawknob organ for
Hollaway Funeral Homes in Salisbury and was so impressed with the sound that
he selected the more current version, the 835 for his home.  He soon realized
he missed having the 3rd manual and made a decision to trade the 835 in for a
new 960, Rodgers' flagship 3 manual organ.  The organ is installed with a
standard 8 channel audio system and 2 channel antiphonal division.  Taylor
also selected a Rodgers PR-300S MIDI system for the organ.

R. A. Daffer Church Organs, Inc. and Rodgers Instruments LLC are very proud
to have a Rodgers Organ in the home of such a fine organist
